Welcome

Thank you for clicking through and finding out more about an exciting new opportunity to help Elizabeth Woodville School (EWS). Over the past year EWS has been working hard to engage with our school communities and raise additional funds for the school.

Our recent Matilda production was a tremendous success, and we believe that now is the opportune moment to establish an official PTA to support and run and support events like these. The PTA will play a pivotal role in fundraising, enabling us to provide resources that are otherwise inaccessible. For our recent production of Matilda the Friends of EWS managed to raise over £500. This money is now going to be used by supporting upcoming shows at both our North and South sites next year.

We are happy to announce we are looking to create a newly formed Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) at Elizabeth Woodville School across both our North (Roade) and South (Deanshanger) sites. Funds raised can help support the acquisition of new books, classroom equipment, and music/drama resources, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for the children.

We are reaching out to gauge your interest in volunteering for the newly formed PTA. Your involvement can take on various forms, from hands-on participation in events to providing administrative support. The plan is to begin with small-scale activities and gradually expand our events as we go. Your contributions, irrespective of their nature, will be invaluable in advancing our cause.

We value your potential involvement and look forward to your support. Please let us know if you would be willing to contribute your time and expertise to this worthy endeavour. If you a new Year 7 parent who has just finished with the primary school PTA we would be hear from you. Your experience would be a welcome addition to the team.
